Glenwood Gardens

Benjamin and I took a trip Saturday to Glenwood Gardens to give Daddy time to work. We went with our friends Tammy and Dominic and had so much fun!

There is a special children’s garden, and it is absolutely AMAZING. My photos don’t do it justice. Plants weren’t even really in bloom, but it still was breathtaking. I can’t wait to go back. We will definitely buy a pass in the spring.

This is a whimsical little mini-kingdom for the kids to look at.

There were so many paths to walk… and lots of ways to burn energy!

There were giant creatures, and some that were regular size and real…like this bunny.

The highlight of the trip, though, was an elaborate train track with running model trains.

There was even a conductor station to push buttons and make the railroad crossing flashers turn on. Here, Benjamin is pointing to the train that he thought he made pass through the building when he pushed the button.

There was a giant tree house, complete with a look out point and a bunch of crawling tunnels.

Inside this house was a place for a tea party. Too cute.

This was more like the secret garden with a long garden wall and lots of winding paths.

And it ended at a HUGE park with a paved trail and plenty of places to run. We barely scratched the surface and will have to return.

Oh…and they had a train table… so, this obviously is the coolest place to be. Winking smile
