It is crazy how time flies. I still have photos on my camera from July 4!
Here are a few.
My friend Tammy and her family came to visit. Leila and Abby are just a few days apart in age. So, we hope they will be good friends!
Also attending our July 4 picnic were our friends, the Duh family. Katie’s son Tyler is absolutely precious, and a great friend to Benjamin.
Benjamin has taken to running around half naked. I am not sure if it is the summer weather, or if it is because we are sort of potty training. But, he is happiest lately in a diaper. Potty training isn’t going great…but he does pee on the potty for a jelly bean. I bought Diesel, a Thomas the Tank Engine train at his request. All he has to do is poop on the potty to get it. While he asks for Diesel daily, he refuses to poop on the toilet. Oh well. It is a process.
We cleaned the couches and carpets a few weekends ago when we shipped Benjamin off to my parents’ house. It was a wonderful break for us all, and we got so much done!
We thought this picture of Abby was hilarious. She was burping on my shoulder, and will probably disown us for posting this look on her face.
Benjamin’s grandparents came to visit for a few hours before a Red’s game. Grandma Jan was so happy to hold Abby and play with Benjamin.
Look who is getting to be such a big girl! Abby weighed in at almost 12 pounds at her two-month visit. She is just over 23 inches long, placing her in the 75th percentile for height and weight.
Only problem with placing Abby on the floor is that Benjamin can literally push her around.
We are adjusting well to Jeremy’s new shift. Often, I let Benjamin run around the back yard in the evenings. It helps wear him out.
Benjamin wanted to dress up like a super hero…like Super Why.
Abby thinks Benjamin is funny!
