I am a little behind. I feel like every day I could blog about so many things, but I barely have time to keep my sanity. So, here is a short update.
Abby was 22 inches and 10 pounds at 4.5 weeks. She is six weeks now, so I bet she has gained at least another pound. She looks so much bigger to us! Her hair is growing back, her eyelashes are getting very long, and she seems to be settling into a better sleep pattern. She still won’t sleep through the night, but at least she goes back to sleep a little faster when she does wake up (about three time…11 p.m., 2-3 and 5-6 a.m.)
Benjamin weighed in at 27.4 pounds and was 35 and a quarter inches tall. He dropped to the 25th percentile for both height and weight.
Here is our Abby Mae…or Abby gail as Benjamin calls her…probably because he hears us call her Abby Girl sometimes.
We went to Findlay/Bluffton for a week, and we saw so many family members! It was wonderful to see everyone. Here are a few photos. We took some family photos as well, but I don’t have them all right here at the moment.
Benjamin and Lydia had so much fun together at the farm.
He has some pretty fun cousins to play with!
And aunts and uncles too!
We had a lot of fun with Nana and Papa.
Saw Great Great Aunt Susan and Great Great Uncle Mike.
Visited with GG, Bob Bob, and “Great” Nancy.
And spent lots of time smiling…
Benjamin decided to climb first in, then out of his crib this week. Then, he launched himself out of the pack=n=play. So, into the big-boy bed he went. Some days, it didn’t work as well as others.
We threw a bridal shower for Keri, even though there was a major wind storm that prevented half the people from coming and knocked out power for miles around. Thank goodness for back-up generators!
Aunt Kim helped entertain Benjamin!
Tessa liked playing with the “BABY!”
Great Grandma Hilty got celebrated her 15 great grandchildren…of which Abby is 14.
Photos of Grandma Jan, Grandpa Bob Bob Hilty and the family photos will have to come later. I need to go sing Benjamin his bed time songs!
