Benjamin and I went to the zoo on Friday, since his babysitter doesn’t work on Fridays.
I really was looking forward to the zoo blooms. I tried to get a few photos, but it was a challenge to get Mr. Squirmy to sit still.
Benjamin thought they were pretty!
He thought the wild peacocks were kind of cool, but the slide on the playground was more interesting.
He enjoyed his freeze-dried strawberries while we walked around. So many people complimented out wagon, and of course the cool dude inside.
I first saw wagons like this at the zoo. I love how many moms (and dads) take their kids to the zoo with wagons and strollers. It is like baby/toddler central!
There were 90,000 tulips! The zoo also is a botanical garden.
DUCKS! These were the highlight of the trip. Benjamin loved chasing the ducks, and I had to stop him before he ran right through the flowers.
He is really into pointing lately…at everything!
WE went with a mom and her son we just met from our neighborhood. So, we swapped cameras.
This camel was quite interested in us and kept coming up to the fence. Actually, all the animals were quite active in the nice spring weather. The polar bears were more playful than I have ever seen them.
But, all good things had to come to an end. We went home for lunch and a much needed nap!
