Butterflies and haircuts

You will notice in these photos that someone got a haircut! Benjamin cried through the whole thing, and I almost cried when he was finished and all his baby hair was cut into a little boy style. But, he was getting out of control shaggy and needed it done.

So, here is our handsome boy during our Saturday trip to the Krohn’s Conservatory for the butterfly exhibit.

We got a lot of funny comments from people who liked his leash. It came in handy in all the chaos!

Benjamin thought the butterflies were just OK. He really preferred to people watch and see all the bright decorations.

Most of the butterflies were flying near the ceiling, so we had to look up a lot.

This was the highlight of the whole show. Unfortunately, it was the exit, so I had to keep dragging him away from it.

Benjamin wasn’t patient enough to hold a butterfly…and we didn’t want him to crush it. So, Daddy caught them to show Benjamin.

And, back to the floor.

We discovered a jungle when we exited the butterflies.

Benjamin literally ran down the walkway.

So much to see, like FISH!

And waterfalls…

Lost a shoe…but quickly found it.

Just because I doubt I will have time to blog the rest of the week, here are a few more photos.

We LOVED making a mess with rice on Saturday. It was a rainy day, so we had to get creative!

And, I think this is hilarious, but Benjamin loves to swim in the tub. The downside is that he also likes to drink the water. EWW!

Today, we went to the playground around the block from us, and Benjamin saw two little boys. He jumped right down from the stroller and followed them wherever they went. He is so social! They, weren’t though. So it was rather funny to see them give him strange looks. The one was just a little older, and he kept trying to push Benjamin. In his typical good nature, Benjamin just brushed it off and kept on following them and the kite their dad was flying. He was ENTRHRALLED with the kite. I guess I should have taken him to kitefest last weekend!

Well, HAPPY EASTER to everyone if I don’t see you. I am heading to Findlay mid-week, so hopefully I will be able to catch up with some of you.
