This year we went all out with the decorating, getting everything out of the boxes and spread all throughout our house. I used to minimally decorate, because we were never here for Christmas. This year, we will be here, and we have been hosting gatherings for friends and family. Abby especially got into the decorating spirit.
It was fun to involve both kids in making cookies this year. I unfortunately was so busy making sure they didn’t dump extra salt and sugar into the mix, I didn’t get any photos! But, it was fun, and they turned out to be edible, if not very attractive.
So far, we have been to see the lights at the zoo, visited the Cincinnati Museum Center train display and have been to the Entertrainment Junction display. We also hosted a Recharge! Christmas Countdown event, which of course I have no photos to document the fun crafts and activities.
I also coordinated outfits for the kids this year for Christmas card photos, which we took back in October! Abby wasn’t extremely cooperative, but they still turned out great! Here are some of the good, and funny shots.
We had to keep handing them M&Ms to get them to sit there.
