Besides the lack of sleep (which we are working on) we have some absolute favorite things about Benjamin.
We love how he curls his toes and strikes poses.
We love the goofy faces he makes when we burp him. He goes completely limp like he is drugged and is the happiest baby ever.
He hates to be cold, but he LOVES to have his head rubbed or his hair washed.
He is the sweetest bundle of love when we get him in his swaddlers. He sleeps this way, and he isn’t quite sure if he likes having his hands restrained. However, if they aren’t, he scratches himself or shoves them in his mouth.
Again…the funny poses. He looks like he is getting his first ab workout here.
Oh my goodness! The second to the last picture was just as if I was looking at Jeremy all over again.
ReplyDeleteOh, I just remembered my conversation with Grandpa Burkholder the other day......at 92 he hasn't lost his sense of humor.
I told him he had a new great - grandson.....and reminded him who Jeremy and Lindsey were. Sara Beth and I told him how you would sing "Jeremiah was a bullfrog...such a good friend of mine..." when we were in Arkansas...and you stood up hands on your hips and told him I am NOT A BULL FROG AND MY NAME IS NOT JEREMIAH. You then turned around and walked away..It took you several days to make up with him. You were his little buddy.......back to grandpa. Grandpa looked at me with a little twinkle in his eye, smiled and said "Oh, did they have a little toad?" Then he laughed and winked. He thought he was pretty clever to whip that out so quickly. He then said how happy he was for you and Lindsey. Grandpa always thought you were something 'pretty special" and he was 100% right!
Love You All!
Have a great night and a most wonderful Christmas!
